Kostas Dimitropoulos is Vice President, Marine, with more than 40 years of diversified experience in the marine industry, international LNG shipping and US LNG projects.
Prior to joining PAE, Kostas held senior management and executive advisory positions in various companies including Tellurian’s FERC-permitted Driftwood Project, GazTransport & Technigaz (GTT) North America, BG Group-Gas Log LNG Shipping business, Princeton Sovereign Maritime, CERES/SEACHEM Tankers and ABS. He is a 2-time appointed representative by the DHS Secretary to USCG Chemical Transportation Advisory Committee on maritime safety and security matters. He authored the first comprehensive study in LNG about marine fuel market outlook in the U.S (Princeton Sovereign Maritime 2013 Study) and various assessment papers in LNG fuel applications for GTT and GdF Suez.
In his current role, he is responsible for project design safety of marine facilities, LNG storage tanks, LNG transfer areas, waterway safety and security, single point representation with USCG Maritime Organizations, Commercial, and Project Regulatory support.
He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. in Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York (NYU).
